Potrivit unei analize BIME realizata pe baza ratingului de pe IMDB.com, Shakespeare in Love si Chicago au fost filmele de Oscar cel mai prost primite de catre cinefilii din intreaga lume: cele doua au note de 7.2 respectiv 7.1, considerate mici in comparatie cu notele luate de majoritatea castigatorilor de Best Picture la Oscar.
