Nominalizarile au fost anuntate de catre Presedintele Academiei Americane de Film, Cheryl Boone Isaac, regizorii J.J. Abrams si Alfonso Cuaron si actorul Chris Pine. Gala de decernare a premiilor Oscar va avea loc pe 22 februarie 2015.
