Cele mai iubite 100 de filme din istorie: vezi topul ales de MSN

In cadrul topului sunt prezente filmele ce trebuie vazute de oricine, fie pentru cultura generala, fie din pasiune pentru film. Topul nu tine cont de o anumita perioada, ci prezinta filmele cele mai bune din toate timpurile, de la filme ca The Wizard of Oz din 1939 pana la Love Actually din 2003.

Insa, prima pozitie nu o ocupa arhicunoscutul Citizen Kane, asa cum ne-au obisnuit multe alte topuri, ci filmul regizat de Victor Fleming din 1939, Wizard of Oz, Citizen Kane pozitionandu-se in cadrul acestui top abia pe locul 38.  Dar fanii lui Harry Potter au motive de bucurie. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkhaban face parte din acest top, clasificandu-se pe locul 42.

Din aceasta lista lunga nu puteau lipsi The Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, Lawrence of Arabia, Star Wars sau Psycho. Topul nu exclude niciun gen: de la musicaluri precum Moulin Rouge, comedii ca When Harry Met Sally, animatii precum WALL-E la drame ca Schindler's List sau Fight Club. Exista de toate pentru toate gusturile, in schimb nu a fost inclus nici un film cu super eroi, ca The Dark Knight spre dezamagirea fanilor si nici filme SF populare si iubite ca Memento sau Inception.
